The article explored how ESG regulations and policies would likely impact businesses in Singapore and South-east Asia (p.19), and included Mark’s comments that the European Union’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism could prompt South-east Asian countries, including Singapore, to push carbon pricing policies in order to capture the tax revenue at home.
