THIO SHEN YI SC M.A (Cantab)
Joint Managing Director
Shen Yi co-founded TSMP Law Corporation in 1998 and heads its Litigation & Arbitration Practice. He read law in St John's College, Cambridge University and topped the English Bar Examination in 1992. Shen Yi brings the same qualities of competitiveness, commitment and an uncompromising sense of fair play into the Courtroom that characterized his school sports career when he played tennis at a national level and for Cambridge. Always a keen debater , no one is surprised that Shen Yi's still talking, but this time for a living. His
practice as an advocate sees him covering a wide range of legal areasA voracious reader and self-confessed book junkie, life and limb are constantly at risk of being buried in a book avalanche at home in his study. According to his associates, he is equally prone to quoting Spiderman or Shakespeare in his written submissions.
