CONSTRUCTION AND INFRASTRUCTURE
Our practice encompasses the full spectrum of both contentious and non-contentious aspects of construction, engineering and infrastructure law. We represent owners, architects, international and domestic main contractors, as well as international and domestic specialist sub-contractors.
We have represented our clients in a wide variety of claims involving defects, liquidated damages and extensions of time, prolongation and acceleration claims, variation claims, design liability disputes and professional negligence claims. We represented an international specialist contractor involved in the 87 day Public Inquiry into the Nicoll Highway Collapse in Singapore. The team is heavily involved in several adjudication cases under the Security of Payment Act which are likely to become leading case in this area. MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS
We are very active in M&A transactions, running the full gamut of deal involvement, from structuring and due diligence, to negotiation and completion. The transactions include takeovers and reverse takeovers of companies listed on the Singapore Exchange, cross-border M&A's and privatisation divestments.
We have recently been involved in the takeover of Singapore public listed companies, as well as acting for the bidders in the privatisation of the power sector in Singapore. The Singapore REIT market has also seen volatile activity including acquisitions of distressed or special circumstances REIT assets. Our practice also encompasses advising on anti-trust compliance and liaising with the Singapore Competition Commission in connection with merger and acquisition transactions.

RESTRUCTURING AND INSOLVENCY
The Restructuring and Insolvency team is multi-disciplinary and comprises both experienced corporate and litigation lawyers. Our Shipping and Maritime Team offers a full range of services in both transactional and contentious areas of shipping and maritime law.
