Director
Dayne is a Director in TSMP's corporate department and co-heads its Equity Capital Markets practice. In addition to IPOs and RTOs, Dayne is active in corporate finance, funds work and advising on regulatory matters. His clients include listed companies in Singapore, statutory bodies and financial institutions.
Having spent some time inhouse in a multi-national, Dayne has an innate understanding of the business issues that
go hand in hand with resolving legal problems. It is his commercial insight, and his professional approach of jumping into every client's problems like they were his own, that has allowed him to build strong client rapport. Dayne likes to remind his partners that his commitment knows no bounds; because he nurtures client relationships over pizza and
a beer, he has had to sacrifice what used to be a heavily muscled body and rippling abdominals for his profession. Chippendales' loss has been TSMP's gain.
Notable Transactions:
- Advised a listed client on its acquisition of 3 shopping malls in Japan for US$217 million.
- Setting-up of a private equity fund for the purpose of investing in infrastructure assets in India and China.
- Acted for the issue manager in the successful listing of Sheng Siong Holdings Ltd on the Mainboard of the SGX-ST.
- Acted for Halcyon Agri Corporation Limited's successful listing on the Catalist board of the SGX-ST.
- Acted for an Australian investment bank in acquiring a majority interest in a Singapore company with telecommunications assets in India.
- Acted for various listed clients in relation to their fund-raisings, including rights issues and private placements.
