Raymond is one of the most recognized names in the construction legal industry, and has practiced in the specialized area of Building and Construction Law for over 20 years. He is the current President of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators and is a Member of the Regional Panel of Arbitrators of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre. He is also an Approved Adjudicator of the Singapore Mediation Centre. He has been the Honorary Legal Advisor to both the Singapore Real Estate Developers Association ("REDAS") and the Singapore Institute of Architects for over 12 years, and is Counsel to the Board of Architects, Singapore. He co-authored the textbook Construction Law in Singapore and Malaysia (2nd Edition) and The Singapore Standard Form of Building Contract - An Annotation. He was also involved in the drafting of the Arbitration Rules of the Singapore Institute of Architects, the Singapore Institute of Architects Conditions of Contract and the REDAS Design & Build Conditions of Contract.

Raymond has been identified in the International Who's Who of Construction Lawyers as one of the leading construction lawyers in Singapore and by Euromoney Legal Media Group as one of world's leading experts in commercial arbitration.
