Monica has practiced in the area of Building and Construction Law for over 12 years, and is a graduate of the University of London and a qualified barrister in the United Kingdom. She is a fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.

Indefatigable and relentless, she is known for causing her opposition sleepless nights by serving on them lengthy and probing (albeit wholly justifiable) requests for particulars, information and documents.

Monica has been appointed by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) and the Singapore Contractors Association Limited (SCAL) as arbitrator in construction disputes. She co-authored The Singapore Standard Form of Building Contract - An Annotation and was a contributor to The Singapore Civil Procedure 2003 (White Book), and recently authored Construction Defects: Your Rights and Remedies. She is also involved in the drafting of the REDAS Design and Build Conditions of Contract.
