Agatha Lee started practice in March 1992 and joined TSMP as a Director in May 2007. Her practice specializes in debt capital markets deals, such as local and international club deals and syndications, and corporate banking and finance, including secured and unsecured financing, domestic and cross-jurisdictional transactions, residential and commercial financing projects – and advisory work on general banking, enforcement and corporate issues.
Her clients are principally local and offshore banks and financial institutions, with whom she has built lasting relationships on the back of a responsive and commercial attitude in her delivery of legal solutions.
In recent years, with skyrocketing interest in real estate related projects in Singapore, her work has seen her acting in relation to the financing of large projects, including a hospital, an office development, up-scale condominiums and numerous industrial developments. She is also active in acquisition finance, such as a hotel-cum-commercial complex, condominium and en bloc property transactions, each worth more than a hundred million dollars.
Agatha is as committed to her clients as she is dedicated to her family; when she isn't waist-deep in documentation, she's likely to be reading the Princess Diaries with her 8-year old daughter or cuddling her year old son. Being able to excel in her field of specialty and still enjoy the warmth of her family, Agatha's one of those rare legal professionals who's managed to have it all.
